Dr Ainapurapu Receives National Anubhav Award 2026
Sriharikota-based trilingual writer, artist, personality development expert and retired postgraduate teacher Dr. Ainapurapu Ramalingeswara Rao has received the National Anubhav Award 2026.
He received the award from Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh at a function held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on August 17. The award is presented by the Union government in recognition of the contribution of retired employees to their departments, society and nation-building.
Dr. Ramalingeswara Rao served for nearly 38 years as a postgraduate teacher at SHAR, Sriharikota. He has authored around 25 books in Telugu, Hindi and English and is also known for personality development programmes that combine magic and mimicry. He has travelled to several countries and received a number of national and international awards.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jitendra Singh said the experience of retired employees could contribute to better governance and serve as a valuable resource for future generations. Officials, employees, former students and admirers from Sriharikota congratulated Dr. Ramalingeswara Rao on receiving the national honour.
