5-Year-Old Indian Boy Recites All 700 Bhagavad Gita Verses in US, Honored with Gold Medal
Master Ainapurapu Viswanath Sri Kruth received the blessings of Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji during the Guru Purnima celebrations in Frisco, Texas.

In an impressive display of memory, devotion and dedication to Indian cultural traditions, five-year-old Master Ainapurapu Viswanath Sri Kruth captivated devotees in the United States by reciting all 700 verses from the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita.
The young boy was presented with a gold medal and blessed by Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji during the Guru Purnima celebrations held at the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, associated with Avadhoota Datta Peetham, in Frisco, Texas.
Despite his young age, Sri Kruth recited the Sanskrit verses with remarkable clarity, rhythm and accuracy. Impressed by his talent and dedication, Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji personally presented him with a gold medal as a mark of recognition and encouragement.
Sri Kruth learned and mastered the Bhagavad Gita verses under the guidance of Sri Indrakanti Venkat in the United States.
Sri Kruth comes from a family with a strong academic and literary background in Andhra Pradesh. He is the grandson of Dr. Ainapurapu Ramalingeswara Rao, a noted trilingual writer, artist and international award recipient from Sriharikota.
His parents, Sharan and Shruti, are software engineers based in the United States. His father, Sharan, is an alumnus of Space Central School in Sriharikota.
News of the five-year-old’s achievement brought pride and joy to people in Sullurpeta and Sriharikota. Community members, scholars, relatives and well-wishers congratulated Sri Kruth and his family, describing his achievement as an inspiring example of preserving and passing on Indian spiritual and cultural traditions to younger generations living abroad.
